Ordering at Teakool, my niece Akemi asked, “Ate Pau, ano yung Kognac Jelly?”

Since Pau studied in Japan, she knows how to speak to her cousin, who has been in Japan for the past decade.

“Kognac-ku,” she answered.

“Ahhhh.” Aki answered.

“Nilagyan ko lang ng ‘Ku’ naintindihan na ni Aki,” Pau laughingly told me.
