Chipped

While at a stop (due to traffic) Nanay and Tatay’s motorcycle was hit by a tricycle. Good thing that it was not that badly damaged. The rear light just got chipped off. The estimate of the damage was around Php 4,000.00 and unfortunately, the tricycle driver can’t pay for the damage until the end of March.

I asked my father, “Tay, bakit di pa pinapagawa ng nanay yung motor?”

 

He anwered, “I-Ma-Mighty bond ko nga muna eh.”

I don’t want to drive in a Mighty Bonded motor so I said, “Wag! Papangit yun. Wala bang pampaluwal muna ang nanay?”

“Wala eh,” he answered, “ikaw kaya muna magpaluwal?”

“Sige, Tay, Mighty Bond mo na lang muna,” I replied.
