Pinakamagandang Kurtina sa Balat ng Lupa
Nanay recently requested made-to-order curtains to cap off the revival of our house. She asked Ate Richie for the ideas for a new trendy curtain. Ate suggested a 3-layer curtain with floral prints and gold background.
Two months after the much awaited unveiling of our drapes, the happy sewer brought her “masterpiece”. We couldn’t help but wonder how you could describe intricately every detail on one thing and get another one. Tatay, Tem and I compete for the best punch line to crack each other about the cheaply looking curtains.
Me: “Nay, itapon n’yo yan!”
For now, we have to live with it and I guess we’re learning to love it. Our appreciation for beauty went a little below the notch.
