Belle of the Ball

My ex-girlfriend’s upcoming Christmas Party is Oscar-themed. Red Carpet.

Paparazzis. Women in evening gowns. Men in tux. All that jazz.

She browsed thru some stores in Imus for the perfect gown. Unfortunately, she hadn’t found the one gown for her.

She finally said last night, “X, baka di na lang ako pumunta sa Christmas Party namin.”

I was shocked (she was looking forward to that party since she heard about the theme), and asked her, “Bakit, x?”

“Eh kasi, x, kung hindi ako yung pinakamaganda sa party, di na lang ako ang pupunta.”
