Suka!?

 

One afternoon back when I was 7 years old, my Lola Pinang gave me five pesos. I asked her, “Wow! Lola, talaga?!”

She nodded. Then I bought all of my favorite junk foods and candies and shared it with my cousins from our neighborhood.

After a couple of hours, I came back before dinner. She was at the front door and asked me screaming, “San ka galling!? Nasa’n na?”

“Po?” I asked.

“Yung SUKA!?”

I received 20 beatings that night. Hahaha!
