Tygue

Back in college, I had a chorale-mate who is always absent in meetings, practices and performances due to the hectic schedule of her course (Physical Therapy). Her name is Tygue (Tay-gi).

Whenever I see her classmate I always ask them, “Si Tygue?” just to check up on her. I was an officer of the DLSU-D Chorale FYI.

During one time that I asked this question, they answered, “Nasa hospital.”

“Ha?! Bakit?” I jumped.

“OA! Duty kaya s’ya,” they answered.

“Oo nga pala,” I realized.
