Right Building, Wrong Address

I was about to send a document to the Loans Department of BDO. Unfortunately, I am not aware of the exact address, so called up their Head Office Hotline and I was transferred to the guard of the floor.
I then asked for the Complete Address and he just answered, “Sir lagay n’yo na lang po JMT Building ma-re-receive na po ‘yun.”

I put the name of the addressee and indicated JMT Building under her name.

While Em, one of the Marketing Assistant BDO SM Dasmarinas, was sorting in the file of documents to be sent out, she noticed my particular parcel, “Sino tong mag-se-send sa JMT Building?”

I proudly answered, “Ako,” and asked, “bakit?”

She then answered, “Sir, GMT Building kaya! Hindi JMT.”

It was then at that point I realized that the guard that I talked to indeed had an accent.
