We Tend to Forget

Having been friends since 14 years old then became an item eventually, X and I have a lot of friends in common.
We were chatting about one recently heartbroken friend of ours, when she told me, “May suitor na raw na bago!”
I was shocked and asked, “Talaga?”
“Oo. 30 years old!”
“Ay! Ang tanda na,” I screamed, then I realized, “Ay! 27 na pala tayo.”
“Yes, X,” She laughed, “3 years lang ang pagitan. Matanda na tayo.”
