Jacket for You, Book for Me

Since it was MJ’s 25th birthday, we decided to give him his much begged Zara Jacket.
Before we bought the jacket, we passed by Magrudy’s Bookstore to buy my book club’s May book, The Story of Edward Sawtelle. During our trip to my ‘candyland’, MJ and Ronald talked to each other.
“Andali lang ng regalo dito sa September 11 – libro!” MJ exclaimed.
I, overhearing the comment, explained, “Ehem, excuse me? I have a rule about that: You don’t give me books unless you’ve read them yourselves.”
“Hala!” MJ cried, “May mga rules ka pang ganun!? Ganun pala gusto mo ha? Sige – Philippine Ghost Stories ka!”
