I noticed that the cherry tomatoes were just plain cherries: cherry not cherry-tomato. Before I could even comment, she said, “Kaya lang unlike nung vegetable salad mo yesterday, iba lasa nitong sa akin kasi iba yung pagka-cherry n’ya.”
“Z, cherry tomatoes yung sa akin yesterday!” I screamed, “Hindi cherry! Ano yan dessert?!”
“Ah ganun ba?” while she embarrassingly picked the cherries off, one by one.
